Ourika Valley

The Ourika valley is situated on the edge of the High Atlas and it is about 45 minutes by road from the center of Marrakech. Ourika is an ideal place to escape the summer’s heat of the city and to enjoy the beautiful nature and mountains. Before we arrive in Ourika we stop at a local house where you get information about the lives of the locals. Then we continue to Ourika where you will experience the freshness of the typical climate of the valley and the Berber houses. In the valley you can walk to the Setti Fatma waterfalls. Setti Fatma is a village along the river with many restaurants and pottery shops. You can also visit the Argan cooperatives, where local women press Argannuts for oil, butter and cosmetic products. Argania trees, are only found in Morocco. Around 16:30 we return to Marrakech.
