Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa and Ait Ben-Haddou the movie set of among other Game of Thrones.
A day trip through the Atlas Mountains to famous locations where many movies and series have been recorded due to the spectacular scenery. Around 7 am we start the trip to Ouarzazate. The journey through the High Atlas is already spectacular, via Tizi-n-Tichka, the highest road in North Africa. On our way to Ouarzazate we first stop in Aït-Ben-Haddou. This city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage.
We drive to Ouarzazate where the largest film studio in the world is established. In Africa’s Hollywood, countless films were filmed: The Gladiator, the Mummy and the Jewel of the Nile and more. The Atlas Film Studio is accessible for everyone.
